International Night

On February 13th families participated in another Sheridan tradition, International Night. Students and their families learned about new countries and cultures, ate international food, listened to music, and watched performances by Dum Pakka Chikki Dummers Group, Mariachi Son de America Band, and Almaz Getahum Ethiopian Traditional Dancers. Families created booths to teach others about the following countries: Barbados, Brazil, Egypt, Italy, Jamaica, Japan, Spain, Mexico, Russia, South Africa, Switzerland, Turkey, and Palau.

Each student created a leaf as part of the Individuality Tree. The Tree expresses how the variety and varied textures of a group of individuals creates a beautiful whole: our community.
